Can't see MM going to Reading, they're struggling in the Prem and MM is on the brink of making history with Cardiff. :ayatollah:

Hope they go down, they haven't got a team capable of maintaining their status. Got no chance now. Good luck mcdermott in finding new job

He used to manage slough, he's going back there now, McDermot. ;)

Re: Brian McDermott

Di Canio favourite to replace him.

Re: Brian McDermott

Mon Mar 11, 2013 6:24 pm

Di Canio was at the game on Saturday apparently?

Personally I think the league should start disciplining clubs for changing managers like this, he took them on a phenomenal run last year and deserved a full season in the prem, same with Adkins.

I just Hope should we go up that Malky is given time to prove himself.
It's my opinion that Malky in years to come will be managing at a top prem club, he has the drive an ambition and is showing a level headed approach that will stand him in good stead in the future.

Spot on. The worst was the way Man City sacked Hughes mind.

Re: Brian McDermott

Mon Mar 11, 2013 6:37 pm

Hughes is shit though.

Re: Brian McDermott

As much as I respect Malky and if promoted I will give him a chance but if we want to go to the next level then I believe a change in manager MAY be needed, VT is a very ambitious man and if still at the club, despite a good working relationship with Malky I can see him going, remember Malky's contract only lasts until 2015 if I'm correct? So that's what, one season in the Premiership if promoted then another to build on that?

Re: Brian McDermott

More proof of foreign business people not understanding football.

Mcdermott had a championship squad to work with, with little money, and is expected not to get relegated.

Whats left? 8, 9 games? Thats a load of time for a new manager to stamp his mark, especially with no transfer window. :?

Re: Brian McDermott

Mon Mar 11, 2013 6:52 pm

f**k me another manager whos had f**k all to spend using the same team that got them up more or less and gets the boot

Re: Brian McDermott

Mon Mar 11, 2013 6:52 pm

Ridiculous realy clubs getting promoted then sacking there manager for not being half way or above

If we go up and then come back down would you want Malky out ?

I would at least give him one year to get us back up

Re: Brian McDermott

one massive joke, this is just another example how clubs in the modern era treat their managers, no loyalty to the manager or giving faith in them to stay and build like fergie, wenger and moyes, pardew may have one massive contract and mike Ashley says he wants pardew to stay for years and will have faith in him but I bet if Newcastle get relegated then pardew will be out.

If we get promoted and are in the bottom three come xmas time Malky will get sacked, thats the kind of man Tan appears to be.I can honestly see Malky getting the boot and a big name foreigner coming in,Like mentioned absolutely no loyalty in football anymore

Can lose 5-0 and say a penalty decision ruined the game when losing 5-0.
