Burnley v Hull tonight

Mon Mar 11, 2013 2:23 pm

Big game for us, anything other than a Hull win will be brilliant.

Could then go at least eight points clear of both Hull and Watford tomorrow - possibly nine clear of Hull if they lose.

Would still have a game in hand too :ayatollah:

Trouble is, Hull could nick this at anytime on this showing.

If it stays like this after another 45 minutes I'll be happy.

Well if the Premier league is one of the poorest ever (As the pundits have been saying), Where have all the good teams gone?

The PL is far from poor. It's just become far more even as the quality at the very top has dropped off somewhat but the rest have picked up.

i agree tbh! the top clubs have lost a lot of their quality, and the mid table teams have stepped up a notch! anyone can beat anyone in the premiership these days, same as the championship!

Burnley are awful tonight.

Don't think burnley could score if there was another 90 minutes left they are bad. Well it's in our own hands, we will just have to win tomorrow

It's a bit chicken and egg really. Have the top teams gone backwards because the others have got better or do the others look better because the top teams have got worse? For me it's the latter but even then the top 4 or 5 places don't change. May not get the quality but I much prefer the championship for the competitiveness and openness

exactly! we got the 2 games in hand, just need to win them both and not worry about the teams behind! :ayatollah:

I like football, but not Burnley, Burnley can f**k off.

Re: Burnley v Hull tonight

Whilst I would obviously prefer to see Hull lose if they win I think it could work to our advantage.
It will help focus our players minds. It's in our hands so let's go and do it.
