Cardiff v Leicester 2010

Anyone remember this midweek game. One of our defenders, gypes I think rugby tackled one of their players who was through on goal. He quite rightly got sent off on about 70 mins. Leicester battered us for the last 20 mins but our crowd was awesome, none stop singing and we held on for a 2-1 win. Good night at the ccs that was.

When we beat the Jacks was better imo

That was an incredible night, I remember by the end we effectively have 9 men as Burke was injured but couldn't go off,

a month later we played the greatest game of football i've ever seen against the same team, what a night that play off semi final 2nd leg was!

Yeh I was there, cracking atmosphere by CCS standards. Great what we can do when backs are against the wall. We were actually down to 9 men. Burke couldn't walk off the pitch at the end. He was injured 15 mins before the end (I think) and we used all our subs and they still kept giving him the ball, bless him.

Leicester away this season was quite good.. we were slaughtered attack after attack but when the final whistle end.. Hudson came over throwing arms in the air.. 3 days before Christmas.. One of the best away games for a whie for me.

I loved it.

Dressed as a Reindeer and a lot of people kept hitting my head, had a pre match pint with the Leicester fans up the road from the ground.. really great banter and good spirit.
