Dont buy one with limited terms before have to change it!
Some sites insist change van after 5yrs or so, and bear in mind site fees are minimum 3k anually! And live in only ten mnths a year.
Then there is tax problems if let out! Speak to a site they will fill in any thing need to know.

i have one in broad haven by newgale,my advice is dont buy brand new, most sites allow a minimum of 15 years, but you may find its not for you,and if it is you can always buy new next time.......p.m. me if you want to know anything specific.......but site fees are normally around £3k per year... :ayatollah:

If you buy one on the edge of a cliff make sure the door is facing inland

Check all the details coz usually they tie you in knots.
1. check how long it is allowed on site, some say after ten years you must replace,
2. some sites charge you if anyone else barring you use it, so be careful, if you rent it or loan it to others, they may want a cut.
3. also check club house charges, do they charge your guests
4. Can you insure it yourself or do you have to do it through them
5. If you want to sell on in a few years, can you do it yourself, or must it be done through them , coz they usually charge a huge commission.

Bought my first static two years ago, after ten year break from caravanning[owned tourers when kids were growing up]anyway paid two grand for it and i pay 150 quid a month site fees, and there is no timescale for removal of old vans.Site may not suit everyone but it has a clubhouse and outdoor swimming pool.

It depends on your budget,i bought a static 2 years ago for 2 grand there are 63 vans on the site of various standards from top dollar down to mine. The site has a club house and outdoor swimming pool,my site fees are 150 a month.
