Here is a list of the max amount of points each team in top 6 can get if all remaining games won. Which wont obviously happen with teams playing each other etc.

Just so you got an idea of what we need to go up.

Im going for 5 wins to make sure

88 points is certain promotion, (it could possibly be less this year) so 5 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats will do it.

I honestly think that if we avoid defeat vs Watford and Hull as a little as 3 wins will see us go up

I have been saying for some time 86 will be enough for Automatic. After yesterday it could be less.

So basically if Watford win ALL Their games, (which won't happen) we can still afford to drop 10 points!

90 pts to be on the safe side

I think 16 points from the 33 on offer will be enough to win the league, and as little as 13 to get promoted.
The teams we have to play, chasing the play off's (Forest,Bolton) and the ones chasing Auto's (Leicester,Hull,Watford) They need to beat us, a draw against them will do us.So the most pressure is on them. If we draw them 5, and win 3 from the other 6 games we are up.
The sides named above plus Palace and Brighton got to play quite a few games against each other also.

So we are in for some exciting times.

The Automatic Rivals and there top point potential.

Watford 93, Hull 95, Palace 93, and Leicester 88, but they also have games against one another.

This means one of Watford or Palace can only get 91 even if they go 8-0-1.

Leiceter plays both Watford and Palace, and Cardiff can take points away from Leicester, Hull, and Watford.

I think 3-3-3 will win promotion. Of course I would prefer 9-0.

I know games in hand are not points but if we win them both we have our 11 pt cushion back

I suspect 4 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses would be good enough for promotion.

That would leave us on 86 points - I can't see 2 teams getting more than 85 points.

i posted on here before blackpool away that we will get promoted home to forest and i stick by that

However many games we have left a win Tuesday would be massive.

For our confidence and mentally it could knock it out of other teams.

Its only after this weekend I really believe we will go up as champions and we didnt even kick a ball lol

Tomorrow is a big night

If we gain promotion I think we should hold one massive party on the field next to the stadium.

Only blue cans allowed though lol

No team in the last 10 years has won ALL of the last 10 league matches, not even the Sunderland, Newcastle and Reading teams who walked the league.

If we maintain our record of winning, on average, 68% of the points on offer then we WILL be Champions because we will win another 22pts which will see us end on 93pts for the season. No team in the last 10 years has failed to be Champions after winning 93 pts for the season. So we don't need to win ALL our games to be champions or to get promoted.

Of the 3 clubs currently chasing us if they continue to win the same % of pts as they have so far then Hull, Watford and Palace will get another 16pts which will give Hull 84, Watford 82 and Palace 81. But will they all win the same % of pts, or will they get more or less

If they all maintain their current % then we will need as few as 12 pts to get promoted, or as little as 36% of the points available. I think we will win at least 50% of the points available or 16 giving us a total of 87 which will mean promotion.

Can one of Hull, Watford or Palace finish with more than 87 pts, possibly but can two of those 3 do it. Hull would need to win 74% of the points available to beat 87pts, Watford will need 81% of the points available and Palace will need 82%. I just can't see ALL 3 doing it.

So for me we need to target 16 pts and we will get promoted. Simples
