A forum for all things Cardiff City

I'm watching Spurs on the tele.
Don't normally watch any team but Cardiff.
How exciting to watch a game of football
Its so different to the predictable stuff I usually watch
I know a lot don't go due to rebrand, and STs can't
Be arsed on times -but surely -if we
Played exciting football we would fill the stadium?

Just come out with it, our football is boring.

We could be the worst football team in the Premier League next season, but we will still sell out every game.
The Championship has been very boring this season so I wouldn't blame our team for the lack of big crowds, the attendances have gone down at every club in this league. It's easy to say "let's just play exciting football, problem solved".

Don't mean to sound like a negative - as I'm not.
But fook me I'm struggling to turn up to CCS at the moment.
We've really done well to be where we are -and that's great.
But as a spectacle to enjoy - its hard.
Before in Ninian - could jump chant and sing so missed
A bit of the dire parts of games.
Now I have to sit and watch 95 minutes of the stuff!

The atmosphere isn't great but that isn't down to the football. We were a much shitter side at Ninian Park and it was buzzing. I believe once we're promoted to the Premier League, the atmosphere will be back.

At times we play some really good football but its only ever in short periods in the game.

Since moving into CCS there have been a few games where I could have quite easily fallen asleep. I put it down to getting old like but that's being harsh on myself.

I agree with you John.
I don't think I've ever liked the CCS.
I like standing- and miss it.
The sanitisation programme to get a cinema crowd watching football
has killed the atmoshpere.
To that would have something to do with it as well as
The boring football (yes we've been shitter,
but now we are top of the championship!)
