Megabus Nutters!!!!

Whilst I was sitting on the stance in Edinburgh bus station this morning A woman approached me and very kindly said "Excuse me son, Do you go to Dublin?"

"No Love, I'm the Aberdeen bus. The Belfast Bus leaves from Stance 13, no bus goes to Dublin though".

She then broke down virtually screaming "Oh my God,My husbands stuck at the Rugby"

I attempted to calm the situation and get her talking to take her out of shock;

"Love Wales are playing Scotland this Weekend, the Ireland game was a few weeks Back at Murrayfield, Not Dublin"

"He Left me He left me" she sobbed, "When does the Dublin Bus Leave, Please tell me,Don't lie to me Please please"


At this point I kinda stepped back and looked around for some of the lads thinking this is a wind up, but I saw no one but concerned commuters staring at us..

Thankfully a young man came over calling to this lady and looking rather relieved, "Angela I've been looking for you, everyone is at McDonald's Waiting for us".

HE WAS HER CARE WORKER.. Why do I attract the looneys?

It is sad when you see these people and interact with them. Makes us realise how lucky we are. My wife had to care for someone who kept forgetting her husband died. Initially, they kept telling her he had died but it was too painful seeing her re-live it day after day so now they just lie to her and say he's out for the day.

Shame Megabus doesnt go to Dublin for a £1 mind!!!
