Same as tuesday. Every time i've seen McNaughton, he's been shit. Nugent and Turner have got a week in training to get an understanding going with each other. Malky being an ex centre half himself, should sort out any problems.

I'll go with this, Nugent needs Hudson next to him to keep him right. No doubt he will become a very good centre half in time but there will be a lot of pressure against Leicester, and he MAY still be a bit young to handle it without Hudsons guidance.

Kev hit some poor form earlier in the season, but Malky brought him back in to face the threat from Palace and he had a really good game and gave them nothing.

As long as we don't ask him to pass we'll be fine ;)

Played Gunnar at RB and he got the assist for the winning goal.

I'm not saying its perfect but Malky has sold himself short in the department and the two versions he's tried without Hudson have failed. It would allow the midfield to freshen up (bring in Cowie or Mutch) and give a slightly more defensive nature to the back four and at least Gunnar is vocal which the area lacks without Hudson.

I agree with 2Blue, Kim or Conway in front of Gunnar.

I just don't think one assist makes Gunnarsson a better option at right-back then Kev or Connolly, personally i would go with Kev because i think that despite his mistake against Boro, i still think he's by far the best right-back at the club. I've always maintained that Connolly is a natural centre-back and definitely not a right-back.

And i definitely wouldn't move Gunnarsson from the midfield either, if it needs freshening up at all then Whittingham needs a rest if anyone, Gunnarsson has been class lately i think. :ayatollah:

Conolly was probably our best player v Derby so the problems more a CB one than a RB one. Conolly is fine at this level for RB despite his short commings. Me saying the midfield needs freshening up is a polite way of saying Whitts is playing complete garbage currently. Someone mentioned Cowie and Whitts was the only midfield that got the est out of Whitts and I tend to agree (although I am a big Mutch fan). But yeah Gunnarson has been quality recently.

God knows.
Is turner shaky as he isn't sure of Nugent.
Is Nugent lacking a leader along side him.
Also the midfield didn't help Tuesday don't think we won a tackle all game.

At a push.

Taylor. Conelly. Turner. Kev.

I like Nugent but while Hudson is out I'd go with experience.
