Frankie Boyle...

Personally I don't see the problem. It's acceptable in the media when he or any comedian mocks incidents around the world, but when he mocks something close to home he/they are branded sick and vile.

I knew a young female who took her life during the tragic speight of suicides and recognise it isn't a joke, but I also admit to the sick and sarcastic manner that is ripe within our current culture.

I'm sure the majority of people hear worse day in, day out. If they got a hold of the group message thing I'm on with my friends we'd be hounded out of Britain. I don't personally care about a fat, old, rich women living in a mansion off tax payers money. However much they shove it down our throats.

I find him funny but i also understand why some would find him offensive

I find Frankie Boyle sometimes goes too far but when he does I don't find it offensive, I just find it unfunny. I think people are too keen to get on their high horse just so they can appear to look like a better person, which in my opinion is worse than making an inappropriate joke because you're manipulating the unfortunate circumstances of others.

Boyle has made a career out of being offensive, he's like marmite you either hate him or love him. There's no such thing as a "nice" stand up comedian

Worlds gone mad.

what youve got to decide is what is more offensive a comedian telling a member of the public to go kill themselves, because in a roundabout way thats what he did or was it he mentioned a highly publicised series of tragic events to make his point. as a guy from Bridgend ive heard worse and these jokes are not going to go away so dont really understand the problem apart from most jokes are made in private and this time it was in the public eye. Frankie Boyle love him or hate him its how he makes his money.

I love offensive material, often go to see comedians.
Jimmy Carr in his live performances likes to try and step over the mark, it's comedy, we have all gone to see him.

I think maybe saying it on twitter is potentially bad taste tho.

He is a comedian for god sake, he don't mean it.

Funniest comedian ever.

It depends on your sense of humour. To me, sometimes Frankie Boyle is sometimes hilarious, sometimes not. But some Bridgendians have built up a culture of dangling off trees. That's not Frankie Boyle's fault, it's nobody's. Just a way of life (or lifelessness).

And just because you may be offended doesnt make you right.

If you dont like him why "follow" him or bait him into a response.

Personally I think hes the funniest comedian in Britain today
