We only managed to pick up 2 points in march out of a possible 12. draws with Barnsley and Millwall and losses to Palace and Ipswich left us in 4th on 63 points 13 behind QPR and 4 behind Norwich who were in 2nd. that season we ended on 80 points picking up 16 in April with 5 wins, 1 draw, and that loss to M'boro. Many put it down to the injury list and small squad If i recall Ramsey had gone back to Arsenal, bellamy, and Olofinjana were injured with a couple others suspended leaving us threadbare until we had a full squad in April!
Based on the above if something similar were to happen again we would end up on 89 points with a draw with Hull in May plenty in my opinion, although i do think our squad is much better and i can see us getting at least one win out of our nest two games and a draw. I have already written peterboro off bogey team Nil points![]()

The reason i post this Hull watford and palace have spent the last month having to win a lot of games Hull are already becoming inconsistent with 2 losses in three, Watford at Wolves and lucky against Sheffield Wednesday last night. We are having our blip with points on the board.![]()

If it had stayed like that, it would have been back in our own hands, but Norwich scored the winner very late into injury time. Then came the Boro horror show, and Norwich won at Pompey (I think). It was not meant to be.
Lets hope that we can finally make it this time. Then I can finally banish memories of 70/71 and Blackpool at Wembley. Keep the Faith
