A moment of calm

Wed Mar 06, 2013 9:14 am

You will all be glad to know that after a long chat with an old friend and myself I have finally found peace regarding the whole rebrand issue, chairman come and go but Cardiff City shall remain and as long as I remain on this earth we will always be BLUE!

These last few months I have been filled with anger and hatred every day and I've had a gutsful of it (although my gym sessions have been awesome)

I am still going to boycott the home games but I must say I am tempted by a few away trips in the future. I could never want Cardiff to lose, as much as I tried.

I once again welcome any Cardiff City chat as long as you don't mention the R word.

Life is too short people, women come and go, chairman come and go but Cardiff City is for life!

Good on you fella, hope you find peace, genuinely know you been hurting and we have all had to deal with things we shouldn't have, but that's life, no one wants us back in blue more than me, just want us to stay in business and progress, tan will be gone in the blink of an eye, it's only the fans who are stuck with it. :old:

And if you change your mind about an home game, let me know and as a conciliatory hand of friendship gesture, I'll pay for your ticket and buy the first pint to help you slip into the groove. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Morning Simon,

A couple of my Derby mates went last night. Met with them this morning and they told me that they got their lot sing "Your Cardiff City and you will always be blue". :ayatollah:

Take away the pisstake or banter whatever you want to call it but everyone around the country wants us back in blue.

I have been in turmoil if I am honest, it's taken me ages to come to terms with it, I was mis directing my anger, the club will live on long after Tan is gone, my beef is with him and not the club.

We need to all pull together for the good of the club. I have empathy with the viewpoint that you Mac, big Sam etc had initially but I think you went about it the wrong way. A lot of people were hurting and the initial KCB meeting galvanised a lot of people and the way you went about things maybe sent them off angry and emotional rather than looking at things in a more measured manner.

I hope the infighting can stop as it's tiring me out, I think I have aged about 10 years in the last 6 months and I didn't start off the best haha.

Life is too short for all this stress.

PS cheers for the kind offer mate, really appreciated :ayatollah:

Hi Ian mate.

Yeah alot of fans I have spoken to are supportive of us going back to blue. Never thought I'd ever get sympathy from other fans let alone jacks ha ha.

Just got to stick with it as much as we can and hope things go back to "normal" one day. Until then I'll support from a distance but have got no more anti red/rebrand fight in me anymore.

Good to hear that you've changed your outlook. I think many feel the same way. :thumbright:

I havent bothered fighting it as i think it wont be going back to blue for awhile no matter what us fans say or do.
Try to enjoy it mate like i have and support the team as one day we will be back to blue :ayatollah:

I know that whether I agree with the changes or not , the way I feel today shows I am not ready to turn away from my club yet! :ayatollah:
Mixture of frustration,relief and anxiety
Not sure if my stomach, heart and nerves could handle another play off though ! :?

Cheers lads. Feel like a massive weight has been lifted to be honest, constantly been feeling guilty for not supporting the City recently. I don't personally care if we get promoted or not at the moment, just glad that I have come to a happy medium which means that I can support my club again.
