Whittingham

I am sorry buti personally have seen enough, he was the worst player by far tonight and as been for the past couple of months.
I personally think he needs a rest, when you got a player that the manager does not even take off at all ,he must think he can't do anything wrong

But to bit it lightly he was shit tonight

agree. i hate slating players but whits has been aweful. either play him as an atacking player or drop him malky.

Unfortunately whitts has played to deep all season and that has taken away his attacking threat and goal scoring passes. We still got to keep the faith though 11 games left prob need to win 5 to go up as champs come on city :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He's just exhausted. He has no power behind his passing which he used to have. Most of his passes are falling short or wide of the target. He needs a game or two off. Conway was the worst player out there last night in my opinion though.

Put him on the bench put Kimbo in his position, I think it will help us and help him personally, He is hiding from play and when is team mates look to give him the ball he dont want it, we all know when he is firing on all cylinders he makes us tick BUT its just not happening for us or him at the moment and iF we honest once santa appears his game goes all to pot and hes been the same for the last season or two, maybe just maybe thats why we seem to bottle it at the death, but saying all this i still think the mighty bluebirds are going up :ayatollah:

malky is trying to transform him into this defensive midfielder because of his passing ability and vision but he falls to realise whitts is as strong as a wet paper bag, whitts is best when hes got the ball attacking and can use his passing a lot better, but who are we to tell malky what to do

I also have to agree. Whittingham just isn't good enough at the moment. He needs a confidence booster, and if he's not playing in more of an attackive midfielding position and scoring goals he won't get that IMO. But because of this recent form I might even swap him. The only realistic candidates in my opinion would be Kim, Cowie or Mutch. Plus I don't think that Whitts should have been constantly defending in the first place- keep the defenders defending!

Sad true. But then it's easier to pick players in form than out at the moment. Out best 2 players were out last night and I'm not sure anyone else comes even close to their form other than Marshall

Following last nights game there is a case to rest all four of the midfielders, whittingham is way off the pace I personally would like to see Mutch be brought back in, I like tommy smith as a player but he are the moment doesn't warrant a place over noone or Kim, against LEICESTER I would go with

Noone , Mutch, Gunnar, Conway

Yeah he needs to be taken out of the firing line for a couple of games. Personally I would give Kimbo a game in midfield.

Exhausted?,this excuse has never gone down with me,a football match lasts 90 mins, let him work 50 hours a week on a building site, through the winter, then he ll know what being exhausted feels like
