KCB are organising a PEACEFUL march/protest to put all the pro-blue Cardiff fans in a position to show the club owners how important our heritage is.
There are no guesstimates as to how many people are going to take part in this march but what I do know is that KCB are going all out to make us heard.
Megaphones, banners, blue colours, balloons etc.
Before the Blackburn home game on MONDAY 1st APRIL 2013, the march will start from Cardiff Central Train station and we will be making our way down towards the stadium.
The finishing point for the march will be on Sloper Road but we will all carry on towards the stadium where we will take our things will us.
The march/protest will start at 1.45pm and end around about 2.45pm
I and a few other people are buying a large quantity of blue balloons which will be bought in packs of 500 and will be distributed around the fans within the stadium.
A Facebook update will be made closer to the time to confirm where we will meet to hang the balloons out. ALL BALLOONS ARE FREE TO CITY FANS
Ps. Sorry we can't afford to buy you a scarf each.

I hope the organisers have cleared this with the authorites. If not i might come down and watch them get arrested and laugh.

Its not illegal to protest, you don't even have to tell any authorities you are going to do it (unless its around parliament). Provided you do not completely block off the public highway, and you act peacefully and without any threats of violence you'll be fine. But nothing wrong with letting the police know anyway just so they are aware.
Sorry CraigCCFC, as much as it looks like you would have enjoyed it its very doubtful anyone will get arrested.

Good luck guys, Ive got myself a load of blue balloons for the Watford game.
I dont see why any City fan would have a problem with this.

You do have to inform the police of any protest march.
It's quite possible that they would want to re-route you for your own safety etc.

A static protest yes. A march you have to tell police 6 days before (minimum and fill out relevant forms) and whoever owns the roads you are marching on to get temporary traffic notices. I hope your not an organiser cos if you are the words piss up and brewery spring to mind.

you don't agree, fine - no need to resort to insults.

I have no issue with the protest. The timing sux monkey balls. Wait till promotion so we can secure the finances to survive if Tan leaves.

That I would agree on. Although how can a protest march affect the players during the game?

It effects the mood around the club. Theres no denying that. As much as we like to think it doesnt effect players, it does!

I don't think a march outside the stadium land before the game will affect the players in the ground, during the game.
The scarves did much more damage against Brighton.

I hope your right. I can see things turning ugly though because even some staunch anti rebranders i know are pissed due to the timing.

Well I hope they get caught and arrested should they turn aggressive.
Everyone has the right to air their opinions in a peaceful manner.

This should be done after we know where we are for next season.
Get a grip FFS.

It's not illegal, but you do have to do a lot of planning, Vince and myself have organised a few and if it's a mobile type of march protest, you have to have numbers and for every one hundred people you need a first aider and at least one certified visible marshall, you also have to get Police permission for the route you intend taking and the time, obviously for traffic control and other health and safety issues.
These are just some pointers i remember, but I'm sure there are a few more, best to check.

I'm not against protesting, but this is badly timed. We all agree that VT and the club has badly timed certain decisions, so it does not make it right that us supporters do likewise. What we need now is as much positivity as possible, we need to be united, with no further distractions for the most important 12 games in our history.
It will be an own goal anyway, as hardly anyone will get involved and the Red will have one the day once again.
