We all know that if we go up we will have £25m to spend. Who would you realistically have?
I would like us to get rid of Gestede and Velikonja and get Adam Le Fondre. It may be hard to get him off Reading and may cost a fair bit but has lots of PL experience and would be a very good signing.
I would also like to see Chris Gunter back, as we need pace and quality at full-back position. Connolly is doing a great job, however don't think he would be fast enough at PL speed and quality.
People may slate me for this one, however i would like to see Ramsey back. He hasn't been the same since his horrific injury, however he is getting horrible treatment from Arsenal fans, and under Malky i feel he could get back to his best.
We would need a holding midfielder as cover for Gunnarsson, and i'm not quite sure who we could get. I was thinking Shaun Derry? He has lots of Premier League experience and probably has a few years left him in.
Your thoughts and opinions on this???

The £25m is a mythical number , no club would ever release money they had to budget for . This is a good post for end of May as we are still in Championship at moment

We would people slate you for wanting Ramsey back? - he's far better than anything we have at present

Derry?

Lets get their first before we start talking about new signings. Long way to go yet

Lets get up there first.

Derry is a work horse me and boys all come up with him when we had this conversation on sat, remember we need a squad not a team so yes d quite happily see him run around in cardiff shirt

I wouldn't mind sako from wolves. He has looked pretty solid for them this season. Defo want a couple of full backs in as we are short there.
Mon Mar 04, 2013 11:22 am
how does le fondre have lots of PL experience?
Mon Mar 04, 2013 12:33 pm
Wilfred Bony stricker from Vittesse in the Dutch league would probably cost around 10 mill but trust me he's worth it
Then I think we would need 2 new fullbacks and another centre mid and we woul then have a pretty good prem side maybe another stricker too Le finder would be nice

Would like to see us change formation next season, probably go with a 4-2-3-1.
Have Campbell as the lone striker or Maynard. Will be very interesting to see how Maynard performs in the Premiership next season, rather looking forward to it!
Play Bellamy on the left side of the attacking midfielders and Kim Bo on the right side of the three attacking midfielders.
Would like Whittingham to be in the central of Kim Bo and Bellamy but have him dropped a little further back so he can receive the ball and create things.
Start with Gunnarsson and Mutch then in front of the back four.
Anyway onto potential signings I would like to see the following players brought in:
John Brayford, Craig Dawson and Andreas Weimann.

Don Cowie is a work horse, does that mean he's prem quality? Derry is past it. I can run round a pitch all day and be a work horse, but i'm not good enough for the prem. Not having a go or anything, but Derry is no where near good enough

Just do what they do on FIFA and sign loads of fast black players. The white Brit is a feckless breed and they need replacing with Ivorians, Jamaicans and Ghanaians. We also need Stan Collymore and Clarke Carlisle as a coalition of management and issue a statement saying we'll never play Zenit because they are racists. Obafemi Martins should be our first signing because he's a rather fast black man.

25 milli

on should see about 3 decent signings, if you want really quality you would need to spend about 20 million on say a Fellini from Everton
Mon Mar 04, 2013 4:53 pm
Falcao will do for now

Don't rate Gunter or Derry at all to be honest.
Lallana if Southampton get relegated, kone if Wigan go down, konchesky from Leicester? Wes hoolahan, adomah from Bristol, no idea about what CB's.
Mon Mar 04, 2013 6:18 pm
Bakary Sako
Jack Hunt
Christian Benteke (could be hard to get but possible if Villa get relegated).
Charlie Austin
Nathan Redmond
Wes Morgan (if Leicester don't go up)
Matej Vydra (if Watford don't go up)
Mon Mar 04, 2013 8:22 pm
what about Park Ji Sung if QPR go down, can play out wide and through the middle and has immense work rate
Mon Mar 04, 2013 9:29 pm
Royston Drenthe would have to be a signing for me. He has a little bit of an attitude but when I've seen him at Everton he was a class act.

He may as well be called Le Finder because he seems to be finding the back of the net regularly. Maybe we can rebrand him.
