For those who wish to form a new club:

Sun Mar 03, 2013 1:49 pm

Having read some comments on here lately about forming a new club due to the planned name change and colour change which has gone on before then i ask you this question : What happens if Tan leaves and another investor takes comes in, who then reverts to the previous blue kit and original customs prior to tans rebrand. What do these 'prostesters' then do? Leave the new club they have formed and come back to city? Leaving that club in the Tom tit? Just a question. Nothing lasts for ever, look at Sam Hammans badge etc. it didn't last long did it.

Exactly, this talk of forming a new club is ridiculous to say the least. After all the rubbish we've had throughout the years, even recently with uncertainty regarding our future post Sam hamman. A man comes in who actually puts his money where his mouth is, I accept changing the clubs colours and name is a bitter pill to swallow, but tan isn't going to be here forever is he? Cardiff city is a ride. Everyone should know this, when has it been straight forward. Look at the jacks for instance. How many of them stuck by the club on the breadth of uncertainty when petty was there? now look at them. Did they form a new club? No

To be honest It is sad to lose our sentimental values as a club but we died the day ninian park was closed. nowa days you dont even see familiar faces at the CCS .

and if im completely honest I do get angry for a while, but most the time Im watching football and just forget about it and no matter what hapens they are still our local club

This is the question I'd also like answered. Surely if a new club takes the bluebird logo how are future owners going to be able to restore it. If they did want to restore it would the club hand over the logo and fold the new club?

I don't believe a new club would have to be in the welsh league though otherwise Merthyr Town would be there now.

Exactly, I'm not happy about it and it pains me seeing us in red but it would hurt a hell of a lot more if I didn't have a club to support anymore. I think we'll go back to blue one day. Lets just reluctantly accept what's happening at the moment because I for one am happy to see the back of the winding up orders and selling of key players just to keep us ticking over

can only answer for myself here: I am not closely involved in forming AFC Cardiff City, but just a supporter who lost his faith and passion for the red CCFC. Cant tell you 100% what would happen then, on one hand I would say I would be back supporting the orignial club in his traditional colours, badge etc.
but dunno how I will cope with these new d1cks who came in due to the club's success on the pitch, who are not following CCFC but just success or glory or premiership football. looking at pictures taken against brighton, my adrenalin rises, wishing to grab some of these by the neck...

The other thing I strongly disagree with is that CCFC is controlled by one guy who doesnt care about the club itself, its just his toy and fans are customers.
A few on here were at that Sam Hammam meeting on black Friday, when Sam sat down with a few fans in one of those containers (later to become the Rams' office). After Sam told us, either I will be successful with this club or I will take it down, I said we need to find a different solution, a structure or a plan how to stop maniacs fukkin around with football clubs. It was the time when Wrexham almost lost its ground, due to that pr1ck Hamilton. My opinion hasnt changed since then, no matter if it was Sam, Riddler or now Tan, I dont want any of those feckers to fiddle around with a club, that is dear to many people.

Ticket prices are also getting rediculous, mate of mine follows Chelsea since the 70s, and recently he paid 60 quid for a Premiership ticket at the bridge, and that was no executive, hospitality one or in a prime area.

So, my answer would be: simply dont know, mate. One part of me says I would go again but I cant really say.

Success brings new fans, you look at any club in the country and it would be the same scenario. We are no different are we? I don't like the happy clappy type down there who boo when Hudson doesn't take on 6 players and scores but without these fans who knows? The way I see it is that these fans would bring down their children etc or youngsters who would then be the fans of the future, the more we get down there the better. As for ticket prices, that's premiership football for you. Nothing we vs do about that

course you can do something about it: if all fans refuse to buy them, the prices will go down...

I was devasted to hear the news of this driving back from boro I am against the rebrand but support my club but I also see how these people feel, they obviously feel isolated and hurt,it's like when someone you love hurts you and you respond and not in the way you would want and may look back and think"what was I thinking".There were more red scarfs than I would have liked at boro and I think these people would be lost regardless of a new team,Mr Tan I thank you for your investment but it has come at a cost and that cost is the division of our fans.......Very Sad indeed.

Get a grip everyone.......FC United of Manchester started up and how many are involved....a few thousand?

Most of these people (in the height of this weeks drama) numbering a few hundred will narrow down to 50-100 ....a lot of them kids making a name for themselves on line.

A lot are still going on about a name change..this is not a fact.

People moaned because there was a scarf hand out and we lost to Brighton. If we won 5-0 there would of been no mention of it. Fickle isn't the word for it.

In fact I'm adding to the publicity....it's not worth talking about. Here's to promotion and a few moaners will not take away my enjoyment that this season will always stay with me.
