Play Offs are still a possibility. Autos could be bye bye

With us not being consistent as of late, and teams like Hull who are breathing up our backsides we can't presume the autos are ours for the taking. This team has done well for the best part of the season, but seem to be sliding a little now when it matters. From 11 points to 5 is slight worry as we are no longer in a comfortable position at the top. Hull will now fancy a go at 1st place, where as only a month or so ago we were looking like running away with the leauge.

We need to simply go on a winning run of at least 2 or 3 games, or I think our automatic promotion that a lot of us thought was in the bag could either go down to the wire at the end of the season, or we could be over taken by our rivals and end up back in the play offs again.

Look at it like this:-

We win vs Derby on Tuesday
Palace beat Hull on Tuesday
We win our game in hand and go back to 11 points clear

Not so bad now is it?

Lots of ifs in that. Tuesday is massive now and if we fail to win I fear the worst. No reason we can't beat derby other than a collapse in form which is entirely possible. There's going to be lots of nervous fans on tues so lets win it and send out a real statement of intent

Actually 7 safe in autos, with a game in hand. Still a cushion, and a cpl of wins next would see us nearly there. One game at a time.

Some people need to get a grip. Do you think the teams below us are going to win every game before the end of the season. I don't think hull expected to get stuffed against Bolton but they did. The good thing is our next game is at home.

My god how cry baby are our fans. We still need essentially mid table form to get promoted. Cardiff could conceivably go on a bad run got a few games and come back into form.
