DID WE DESERVE ?

Did we deserve anything from today's game ?

First half performance and the way Middlesbrough cut us open I didn't think at half time that we deserved anything other than the score line at that time.

But the second half was a completely different affair, we created chances and at the end we pushed everything and everyone forward trying to get the equaliser, we rode our luck a bit but I feel we definitely deserved at least a point out the game.

I am not overly concerned about today's result because I believe that the team will bounce back with a win at home on Tuesday against Derby.

I agree with you there, Carl.

It was a terrible 10 first half minutes from our defence, but we dominated in the second half of the game and were very unlucky not to get one or two more goals, if not for their keeper who was outstanding to be fair I think that we may well have got those extra goals and taken 1 or maybe even 3 points.

On to Tuesday now.

There were flash points of chances and dominance. Boro could have won by 4 on another day. Our central midfield was poor I thought. Failing to control the game against a team on a bad run.

I enjoyed Marshall playing on the left wing.

That was a bold move, although I have to say his passing is awful if he wants to make that role his own in future

Spot on Carlos, felt we were worth at least a point over the 90 minutes.

The bits I saw of the second half on line was all Cardiff, Campbell missed a sitter to equalise caught it too well and bounced over the bar.

We got what we deserved after our defending 1st half.

Nugent is the 2nd best defender we have on our books. The young lad has done well.

Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay said: "I thought we had 10 minutes in the first half where we gave two bad goals away.

"We'd started really well and finished the half really well and second half we gave everything… and really penned in Middlesbrough.

"On another day a couple of those at the end would have dropped in.

"Fraizer Campbell had a header that bounces down and just over the bar and he had the shot where he's hit the guy's hand and the referee's said it's too close for him to give a penalty.

"But the ball's going into the net so on another day it could have been a draw."

At the end of the day judging the first half and what I heard second half.. (Live stream didn't work) it didn't' seem the worst result and we could be okay going into Tuesday

we deserved a point nothing more, you cant expect to give 2 nil leads away then win but 2nd half we could have had somthing back, Marshalls perfermance was different to say least lol
