football

when i started watching city it was a working man sport you could stand on the terraces
swearing smoking, walk down the streets singing and have a good laf on a saturday
yes there was trouble outside the grounds among fans and it got out of hand
but the way it is now there is no passion on the terraces or walking to the ground
like the use to be it really has become a prawn sandwich game
and clubs have to shoulder some of the blame by the way the stewards act and
stop the fans standing and singing we need to get the passion back into
football i use to love standing in the old grange end singing
before long youngsters will not support there local team because
it will be like a morgue in the grounds and we lose them to more exciting
sports

the unfortunate thing is the health and safety brigade has taken over.
1st they banned the wooden rattles.
2nd they banned smoking
3rd they banned stands
then there is the political correctness brigade
1-you cant chant anti english songs
2-you cant shout at players
3- you cant taunt away fans
too many people trying to make football better and safer are actually ruining the game.
