Any peugeot mechanics/specialists on here?

I have a peugeot 207 that is driving me mad. It is struggling in low gear or when idleing. 3 garages, a friends diagnostics reader and peugeot themselves cant find any fault. Any help or advice would be gratefully recieved. Now back to find a decent link for the second half, c'mon you bluebirds!

try unplugging the maf sensor ( air flow meter ) its only a plug in clip on the pipe going to the air filter box.
If it runs better unplugged then its the maf sensor if its still the same when you drive it just plug it back in

Is your car so good it gives you the right to have a go at other peoples cars?

this happened with my 106 until eventually it started cutting out. My mechanic mate just couldnt figure out what was wrong with it.. Get rid of it now while its still running i managed to part ex mine while it was working

I had a friend with a similar issue, after the dealer upgraded the CPU software the issues disappeared. I know nothing about cars and this is just hear say, but worth a look. She was being quoted for new a engine until they stumbled on the fix.
