Bjorn Sigurdarson

Watching him Sunday and tonights live game against Watford; I really do feel that we missed out on this player. I still believe Etien Velikonja will come good for us, once he can meet to the physical demands of the championship.

Surely, if we paid the extra 400k on Bjorn instead of the reported £2 million we paid for Etien, our investment would have been worthwhile this season. I still believe Bjorn would have come to Cardiff, with the lure of playing with fellow Icelandics.

Whats everyone elses opinion, for those who went Sunday?

He's quick and strong, from what I saw Sunday that's about it.

But we havent seen enough of Etien to compare with Bjorn either, apart from the development games.

Should the money have been spent elsewhere, lets be honest, £2 million is alot of money for one player at championship level. Yet, we can buy Campbell for a reported 650k (even though final year of contract) who has scored 5 goals in 5.

I agree 2 mill is alot, but i honestly dont rate sigurdarson and campbell is a steal!!!

Surely Velikonja has only got 13 more games to get up to speed otherwise he's got no future at the club.

That Bjorn guy doesn't seem to be the best at this level and quite average from games I have watched and Sunday.

I think we dodged a bullet with him.

At wolves I thought he put himself about well but seemed to lack the quality I expected of him.
