King of the Plastics

Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:24 am

Tomorrow I will become one of the many so called plastic supporters, going to Manchester for a weekend on the piss, but sneaking off tomorrow afternoon to watch United v Norwich, haven't watched a game at Old Trafford before, so I'm gonna get an example of what it's like to be a Cardiff City fan in a few years time!

Can imagine it know, person next to me 'how long have you been a United fan?'

I don't think it makes you a plastic, just a football fan :ayatollah:
I've been to quite a few games that haven't involved city. One of them was old Trafford, def a stadium worth visiting :ayatollah:

Yeah I've been to watch them few years back, its a great stadium and it was surreal at the time to see the standard of football played compared to Cardiff who at the time were in League 1

My old man is from Stockport is in his late 60s and was a season ticket holder there for years. Travels up from newport everyd so often now. But I went with him all the time until Saturday football took over from Sunday football about the age of 12. Never been a united supporter, actually cheared on my first time when Wimbledon scored, what do kids no eh?! But the place is amazing, the football they play shows the gap between the top teams and teams like us. Only stadium I think is better is camp nou. But the fans there aren't as good as OT the place is electric.

As much as I support city, I'll never give up the chance to go and watch the big teams around europe whenever I get the chance. Especially when it never used to look like city would be going to those places!
