If Tan is to be believed then this is an assurance that we will not end up in admin or the lower leauges so there is nothing to worry about. I am quite sure that once in the premiership we would have no trouble in attracting a rich buyer and the extra money would certainly ease our debt situation.
Do not feel sorry for Tan because I am sure that the club would be worth more than when he took over and he would not lose money.

I think that being in the prem would certainly ease our money worries but not cure them completely. Of course I would wish for Tan to clear the debt but we must remember that most premier clubs are already in debt so its not unusual.

As you can see the targets are Championship clubs as they don't have massive serious debt and the debt they do have is easy to clear and a chance to invest and make money.

Yes you have a point but its catch 22. Although the championship club may have less debt they also have less exposure, earning potential, crowds and marketing opportunities. It all depends how the prospective buyer views it I suppose. It would appear that all these rich Billionaires have moved away from who has the biggest yatch and its now more like who has the best football team

As soon as that prem tv money is guaranteed this club is very much a going concern regardless of tan . It will be a premier league club with little debt , a relatively low cost base for a prem league club and a huge fan base .
