Strangest bit of Vin Tan intvw....

Thu Feb 28, 2013 10:16 pm

Was where he said it was the youngsters who were against the rebrand.

I don't know where he got that idea but it's definitely the fans in their 40s and 50s who seem most against it.

Someone at the club should put him right on that.

That's not the impression I got from those who chose to wear the free red scarves last week.

I think it was a cross-section of fans, i.e. those older fans who understandably want to keep 'tradition' and the younger ones who were told to by their dads!!  :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

My dad is quite in favour, my brother isn't bothered one way or another and I am 100% against it. Us youngsters can make our own decisions thanks (I use that term loosely as I'm late 20's now).

Also, congratulations on doing a post involving no capital letters, still a few smileys and some bold text, but no capitals is a start, I could actually read your post without my eyes hurting too much!

I was happy about the change (well accepted it) i liked the idea of the welsh theme on our badge. And i have supported city for years, but i can accept that football is a business theses days, thats the way it is.

I think he was referring to the two seventeen year olds who are organising the protest march, again.

When he talked business he talked sense. Sam H has got his work cut out getting one over on Tan you feel.

When he talked football he talked utter shite. Liverpool and United are well supported because of their success not their colour. Admitting he was trying to clone them was as insulting as him not understanding why we want to keep blue.

It was clearly evident the people around him wouldnt dare tell him he was wrong. That one suck up would agree if Tan said the sun was black.

I thought it was bizarre the marketing guy mentioning the "huge amount of imitation QPR strips sold when Tony Fernandes bought QPR".

How the f**k does buying fake gear bring riches to the club / Tan?
