When did modern football start? What is modern football?
Maybe it started when Trevor Francis was signed for £1,150,000, ironically in a deal between B'ham and Norwich, not synonimous with big spending these days.
Whenever and whatever, we are now caught up in it and whether you are classed as a "face" "a lad" a "happy clapper" or a "celebrity fan" we are all in it together, unless you jump ship like some. Personally I'm sticking in there.....Tough times never last....you know the rest!
