I almost cry every season when I imagine that goal that takes us up hitting the back of the net and invading the pitch to celebrate

If we do, yes, with joy,
Last time I cried was against Blackpool at Wembley

Me too.
The gloss has been taken off for me.
I shed a tear at Wembley v Blackpool but I just aint got that same emotion now

Nope. I'll be buzzing, but I doubt it will be enough to want to run on the pitch. The rebrand has taken a lot of the excitement out of this season.

Youll be on the pitch. No doubt. We will all be caught in the moment.

Yes, it will be a memorable day if we're promoted, everything that has gone on but the moment will reward a lot of long outstanding fans who have waited for this moment, me myself a fan since 06, of course I'll be happy and potentially cry, but it's the fans who have waited ages to see this happen is who I'll be most happy for

I don't think I will. I still enjoy watching the team play as its a superb mixture of hard working players with good quality, however I think if we are promoted it will be tainted for me.
Amazing to think like this as looking back to this time last year I did shed a tear or two when we lost at Wembley.

Me too thinking of my mates who would loved to see us there but are no longer with us.

Ive cried @ Blackpool playoff final, in fact I stormed off and the whole coach had to wait an hour until I was found...I did 3 laps of Wembley. haha. I don't think ive ever full on cried with happiness watching Cardiff...Ive had a 'look inward' moment and said to myself "this is what its all about" with watery eyes, but nothing more.
Regardless of off the field activities, IF we go up I think I will just be relieved...especially as we've been top for so long, not as if we snatched it at the end....well I hope not!
Funnies moment was against Stoke in the 2nd leg at ours when Stoke came back to beat us in dramatic fashion. My mate was hoooooowling with tears which then turned to anger, he kick a traffic cone, which was packed full of sand...needless to say he broke his foot and we ended uo in a&e. That was a horrible night that!

Couldnt agree more. Been waiting years for promotion but the way we have had 2 get it is sad. Guna be a very hollow celebration.

Play off final QPR. Final whistle I punched the air in delight, sat down and blubbed, same at Boro away in fa cup, couldn't stop myself.
I can't see this being any different. It's waiting for years for something to happen and when it arrives, bang.
I'm 50 yrs old, and I'll be crying no doubt.

Last time I felt any proper emotion towards the club was at West Ham away, we'd just been played off the park but were still singing and chanting with pride. Lump in the throat moment.
The very next day all my passion and love for the club was shit upon by a foreigner who hasn't got a f*cking clue about football.

Probably, waited a long time to see it happen, (we're not there yet mind) but when/if we do it the pain of so many dissapointments will be erased.

My thoughts will be with family and friends who are no longer with us and who would have loved to see us back in the top div. What my grandfather would have made of the shirt and badge I dont know, a few choice words no doubt.
