Been there, done that, got the t-shirt and don't wanna do it again. 1971 I started this journey and this is as close as we've come to the top flight. I desperately want to go to the Prem as Cardiff City but I would never want to risk going back to the "good ole days"

You started supporting Cardiff City the Bluebirds in 1971. Don't pretend that the red Cardiff Dragons is the same thing.

I know, I can hardly believe ONE person would vote for us to be called cardiff dragons just as long as we get to play the mighty wigan and west brom! What the hell is wrong with people.

Also brings the club over £90 million + and playing team Iike man utd, Chelsea, etc and derbies against the jacks!! Bit of a positive spin on it!!
Have to say thought didn't fully read the title and didnt realise it said dragons LolI'm pretty confident though our name isn't going to change to the dragons!!

He's played a classic flanker here though. Leak out some bad news, allow the fans to get angry, then confirm that the name wont change. Then when the Bluebird disappears and the stadium goes red, we will all just be grateful we still have our name.
Congratulations tan, you mugged us again you cheeky chappy.

Nobody wants to see the CCS with 2-3000 fans in it playing Burton Albion, and trips to Rochdale!
Grow up! the club doesnt need fans lilke you at all!

Again with the scaremongering!!! Why is it always Prem or league 2??? We could play in any division in BLUE, our traditional colour, is that too much to ask?

Piledriver, I've got some bad news for you. If we do get promoted this season we won't always be a top flight team. There is every chance we could be relegated the next season or the season after that.
Bradford, Swindon, Leeds, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Portsmouth, Coventry etc etc
Are you really happy to see our identity thrown in the bin for what could be a brief spell one division higher? Really??
If, after 40 odd years, that makes me a plastic or glory hunter so be it. But it's my dream and my father spoke about City in the old 1st Division in the early 60s until his dying day. We may not last long in the Prem but the memories will last a lifetime.

I never thought for a minute we would always be in the Prem.
In my eyes our identity is Cardiff City, the club that plays in the city I was born.
Just one shot at the big time that's all I, and many others, want. Mainly because it's the one thing I haven't experienced with this clubIf, after 40 odd years, that makes me a plastic or glory hunter so be it. But it's my dream and my father spoke about City in the old 1st Division in the early 60s until his dying day. We may not last long in the Prem but the memories will last a lifetime.

Bradford, Swindon, Leeds, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Portsmouth, Coventry etc etcNone of these clubs have a pot to piss in so how do these equate with us.

There is one thing that has got us to the brink of the prem mate - on field investment . Could have been done playing in blue whilst he was never going to walk away until we got to the prem as he wouldn't have made any money on his investment . Red or dead was the biggest lie in all of this
