This whole sordid business ...

I said it last summer, when on BBC Radio Wales, that Tan's intention was to change Cardiff City's name (at that time I felt to KL Dragons) and I have not altered my view on that except that now it think it will be Cardiff Dragons. Tan has raped the identity and heritage of the club my Father first took me to over 50 years ago.

OK, he has a pot load of money but hasn’t got a clue about football or taking those who kept the club running, before he even knew it existed, with him. In fact, I think he feels the latter are a hindrance to him in making money out of the Club. Mr Tan we are not a brand but a football club in the city of Cardiff. Our traditional colours are BLUE and we are called the BLUEBIRDS. We represent that city of Cardiff, not Wales or even Malaysia. If he wants to change the Club’s name go the whole hog and rename it Cardiff Plastics because that’s what he turning it into. We are becoming the laughing stock of the football world.

It’s getting ever closer to the day that I think I'll be knocking some golf balls on Saturday afternoons.
