Hate to answer a question with a question but.....

How many of the promises related to the supposed £100m investment in exchange for the rebrand has Tan actually kept?

How do you know there has not been a offer made??? there could have been many offers and counter offers made, nobody, including you have no idea what is going on as far as paying off hammam is concerned.

Think the title should have been how many times has Tan told the truth as so far pretty much everything he says is lies.

Re: How many times has Tan lied?

You can't say he has lied because it is still ongoing and it is also public knowledge that Sam was offered 10 mill just wouldn't agree with the terms of payment. I think there were three offers on the table.

He invested in the transfer market and backroom staff which was promised.

There are plans for a new training ground, also ongoing.

Can somebody give me an example of a lie?

If you say he said we would be playing in blue this season etc. Again public knowledge that the reason he changed his mind was because of supporters supporting his vision at the time.

Carl was the broker between tan and Sam. £10m straight cash offer was never made.

Lie number 2.

A bid of 10 million straight up was never mentioned nor promised. What was said was that there is 10 mill set aside to pay Sam. 3 offers of 10 mill were made but in seperat installments.

Off the top of my head

1 - "we are not changing the colour to red"
2 - conversion of debt to equity
3 - setllement of langston
4 - stadium expansion
5 - training ground

Sure people will come up with a few others

I personally don't believe a word he says and his happy band of arse kissers will tell everyone its the only way to support him or the club will disappear etc. As far as I am concerned the club is disappearing anyway.

Well then he was misleading.

If someone says that if you pay for his lunch he will buy your £10000 car off you for £20000 you would be pretty miffed if after shelling out for his lobster thermadore that the offer was in fact £5000 and another £15000 if maybe one day he might get a promotion.

If the cash is set aside then pay him. He didnt,

So from your points he hasn't lied. There was never a deadline that he had to do all that by. We know the training ground is planned to be built, we know the expansion will happen in the summer if we go up and we know he is currently trying to settle the langston debt (it takes two to tango). So the only one which is debatable is the debt conversion which was stated would be converted after the payoff of sam, so we will have to wait and see.

As for not changing the colour if i remember correctly after the letter TG posted there was a large outcry of fans wanting them back and happy for the rebrand. So that point is debatable but I'll let you have that one

You belive that it will happen at some point in the future where as I don't. I think it was just a lot of hot air to get people on board.

Re: How many times has Tan lied?

No point in debating issues when you jump to conclusions and can't understand reasoning.

None of those issues are lies.

1. The only reason we are playing in red is because once TG said tan would no longer be investment and we will have to find investment from somewhere else fans started crying out for tan and his red vision. He therefore decided to change his mind because polls suggested that is what the people wanted. So not a lie, just back by demand.

2.there are plans for a training ground just no agreement on land for it yet. It is ongoing.

3.Sam was offered 3 seperate deals and refused them all. Why would tan give Sam 10 mill straight cash for an unsecured loan. One of the offers was like 3 payments of 3 mill and 1 of 5 on promotion or something like that. But the truth is he made the offers and it is also ongoing. So no lie.

4. Debt to equity he discusses on his recent interview where he says he still wants to do the swap. Ongoing.

5. There are plans in place for stadium expansion. No lie, still ongoing.

I didnt say that I said we will have to wait and see but you can't call it lies when we havent given him a chance to make it happen. All these things take time

So as per my previous post nothing has been delivered that was promised all you are saying is its ongoing. How long would Tan have to drag his feet before you start to think this isn't going to happen?

I think the most likely solution is that Tan will get us promoted and already has a buyer waiting in the wings who will be even worse than Tan with regard changes but that won't matter as the spirit of the club will be already broken.
