"Happy With 75-80% Support"

The press report that the above words were allegedly spoken by Mr. Tan.
I appreciate that Mr Tan is a very successful businessman and we obviously appreciate the financial support he has provided to the club however I find the comment that he would be happy to have 75-80% on board a bit concerning. A club cannot please everyone but surely its got to be in the clubs interest to have harmony amongst fans and to have all fans 'on board'. Business is business but it seems ruthless to say that you are prepared to lose up to a quarter of fans on the proviso that the other three quarters are happy. That being the case, why make a FREE scarf gesture? Anything to do with the colour of the scarf?

Well so far 70% are against it according to the online pole. Laugh if he went through with it and had to try and find 15,000 fans. Goodluck Tan
