The club will give out a statement this afternoon, he also says the name will NOT be changed, as for the press cutting this morning, lets just wait until the interview with VT is on tonight, it's also funny that most of us hate the "gutter press" but today, the VT bashers are believing every word that is written, as i said, lets wait untl we see the full interview tonight, personally, a name change (if it ever happened) would be my tipping point.

Borley, Barrie, Mark Den and Julian have said nothing on twitter neither has the CCFC twitter account. Something could be up I guess.

Who knows, but somebody has e-mailed wayne and that (above) was his reply, the timing of all this (starting with the press) is shocking, it's as if someone wants to derail our promotion push.

Be fair, big changes like that are not normally consulted with a former groundsman....
not sure what his title is now, some sort of top dog away steward?
Same goes for the media department, this is what your asked to design, so design it, your thoughts are not required.
Also, we once had a club statement suggesting that plans to go red had been stopped...
club statements are about as reliable as a Joseph Goebbels eye witness account

tan didnt say that the name will change, but it will happen. if he says he wont change the name, it doesnt mean anything, look what happened after he stated we would play in blue with the bluebirds badge?

I think after reading message boards they will find that pretty much everyone is against it.

At the end of the day if this all turns out to be a load of misquoting and made up crap at least the club know that the fans will not take a name change lightly, I know it's only a social media outcry but its been fairly unanimous from the fans that its unacceptable, and it was even mentioned on national radio (talksport) within an hour of the rumours coming to light.
Lets see the clubs statement this afternoon and lets accept ONLY THAT as gospel

the same messageboards that suggested red wasn't welcome
yet on a matchday...

I can tell you what will happen now.
1) The club releases statement
2) You get 2 options
3) 1st option: accept name change and Tan will invest £25m and clear the historical debts as promised earlier on
4) 2nd option: don't accept name change and Tan will leave and find new investors
5) Just like the summer the majority will start crying for Tan to stay
6) Tan will have deemed his latest stunt another win
7) Cardiff City's name will be changed
8) The majority will bash the pro blues and say progression is needed and the name still has Cardiff in it

This is what I think:
1) the club will stay the quotes were taken out on context and there is no plans to change the clubs name
The end

If Cardiff is ever changed red, that's the end of the road for most!!

Messageboards account for less than 5% of our fanbase and a lot here are actively for the rebrand.

Where have I stated I'm 'in the know'? I based that forecast on what has happened in the past you whopper. You know like banks and businesses forecast finances using past results.....nothing wrong with that. Given his previous I believe that is the method he'll go.

What do you claim as our fanbase? realistically messageboards count towards about a lot more given our attendances at home.
