Our fans are weak

Thu Feb 28, 2013 11:50 am

Who's to blame for the recent news of a possible name change in the future? Of course it's Tan but I feel after he witnessed all those fans take those red scarves he knew that he could suggest a name change and our fans might accept it purely for PL football. Now I wonder why are our fans so weak!? Years ago clubs would say Cardiff City fans were strong minded and would never accept such a thing but how times have changed. What has happened to us, are we that desperate seriously?
Time to stand up and voice our concern.
Good to see 70% or more have gone against the name change already on wales online.

Our fans are not weak. The problem is we number less than 5000.

But what has that 5000 done apart from complain on a message board. Not one protest.

5000 is a lot of fans, if we actually attempted to voice our anger and concern IF this name change was to go ahead then we'd have a big say in the matter

When our fans had one of the worst reputations for hooliganism the silent majority were exactly that.....silent!

Now we have some who are/were apologists for that time wringing their hands and acting like drama queens.

The vast majority of fans have Cardiff City as a real interest and love watching football etc.

You can moan with a certain minor celeb about football culture etc and football has died etc but join the real world.....that so called culture is dead....thankfully.
