Well here an interesting question, a name change is well out of order by VT, but would you attend next season if we were promoted?
(Purely speculating on promotion and name change of course)

yes got a season ticket, looking forward to premiership football for a season. I would not renew again though even if we stayed up if the name changes

I have renewed my season ticket so I have said yes but that will be it for me. One year in the Prem and i'm gone.
The buzz of football day has gone for me and thats due to a number of factors:
Colour change
Fans bickering
Fans booing over one loss against brighton
people to hungry for success (what happened to just enjoying a game of footy win lose or draw?)
Family commitments
I might just take up golf

No

Gotta laugh, some hate it so much they will only attend one more season lol
Get a refund.

No ,put up with the red top & beer mat for the sake of the club. But Cardiff Dragons would be the end for me ,I've already renewed but I will try to sell this on / refund.

Although understandable, It's a crying shame as the more people who claim a refund opens the door to more 'plastic' new fans who embrace the red. Although I'm against a name change (and the red for that matter), I will always follow Cardiff and go to games (in my blue scarf) because they're my team and I love football. I can't support anyone else.

I have clicked yes purely for the fact I have already purchased a season ticket.
As it would be like watching a new club I'd watch premier league football as a neutral.

If the name changed The CCS would still be full every home game in the EPL.
9/10ths of the home support won't be able to name a player or even care about the result, but it will still be full.
The real problem would arise if a subsequent relegation occurs. These fans will then desert and go back to watching (insert successful EPL team here) on tv or in the pub. All true Cardiff City fans would also be long gone as in their eyes the name change would equal the death of Cardiff City FC in the first place. Bye Bye club.
I believe Cardiff City FC stands a better chance of long term survival than Cardiff Dragons Franchise Ltd.

Illustrates my point below perfectly.

Voted yes, I will go. Cant see the name changing.

Tied in on a 5 year plan.
Once thats up, is the name changes its away I go.
This year its 48 years of being a bluebird.
No effing Redbird, like on those stupid scarfs, or a bloody dragon.

Having seen the early results off this poll as well as speaking to a couple of 'red scarf wearing' mates, something important has been revealed in my opinion, contray to what Polo was shouting about earlier I think that changing the colour was one thing, but changing the name of the club WILL NOT be acceptable to the MAJORITY of the fanbase, as opposed to the colour change were there is only a minority who feel very strongly about it.

This.
The anti red brigade have already voted for premier league football at any cost by renewing next season. And those saying they always knew this was going to happen, why did you renew?
Thu Feb 28, 2013 5:06 pm
Would make no difference to me supporting the club I have supported for 40 years... I like cardiff city dragons, want to keep the city... The dragon is more synonymous with us proud Welshmen than any bluebird or swan ... So I for one will buy into it
