Future season tickets question ?

Mon Feb 25, 2013 7:53 pm

What do most clubs do once they have reached there full season ticket sales target and have a waiting list ?
I know that we will more than likely upgrade the stadium which MIGHT release more but how do they intend to whittle down the waiting list after this season ?
What do clubs like Chelsea , who have quite a small stadium compared to fan numbers do with there list ? ,
do they have a one in one out basis ?
Is there a limit on how many seasons you can keep your season ticket for ? How do non season ticket holders who want one ever get a chance of owning one ?
If cardiff go up this year and stay up , I'm guessing everybody would renew so what do the fans that missed out this year do about getting themselves one as they would miss out next year aswell ?
I've got a friend who shares a man utd season ticket where they buy one between them and pull games out of a hat as to what game they go to ?
Could dual tickets be introduced here ?

Anybody know how the top prem teams deal with this , I know they've got bigger stadiums but they still have waiting lists .

People will drop out of football and people die so that will free up space for someone else :malky:

I think they'll have a long 'waiting list' and charge a BIG 'joining fee' after you've been vetted by a Committee of 25 season+ fans (a bit like Golf Clubs of old) who will each have a BLACK ball and a WHITE ball to put into a sack.

Each candidate will be judged solely on their 'singing' abilities and will be notified not by letter but by the 'signalling' of SMOKE from VT's Finance Director's Office, i.e. WHITE for YES and BLACK for NO

Anyone getting even one BLACK ball will be unceremoniously rejected and passed on to Newport County for a fee equivalent to the price of a Burger, Chips and a Coke at a 'Compass' Refreshment Outlet (nice income if you can get it ;) )

ffs you made me feel so bad ....seeing i been a season ticket holder from god nows when ....just realised im depriving some poor soul who now wants to be season ticket holder and there are not enough to go round .....maybe they should not allow us to renew on the basis of who ever has been a season ticket holder the longest should be the first to be refused in favour of a new season ticket holder ....maybe any one who refuses to buy and wear red should go to the back of the queue aswell in favour of those who will.... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :malky:

Huh ????
It was a question on how clubs deal with there waiting lists
Personally couldn't care I'm a season ticket holder aNd have been for longer than I can remember . quite why you thought it necessary to try and start an arguement about the rebrand I don't know ! Quite pathetic to be honest .
The question was asked because I have a friend who has been a season ticket holder for nearly 8 years but has missed the last 2 due to serving our country in Afghanistan , he is now due to leave the army in June but has missed his chance of getting one again . Just wanted to know what the norm is for other clubs waiting lists ! Simple question there are a lot of proper fans who have missed out due to a number of reasons , ones that just left it to late I have no sympathy for but there are exceptions and this is one , I didn't mean plastics who just want a prem ticket .
