@daveh1927 @bloobird87 so what's you point fans can were what they like. If it was not for VT would there have been 2500 fans at the game

I don't see how anyone can argue with that :|

Time to put the Blue v Red to bed for now, let's just enjoy the best City team I've seen for 40 odd years :ayatollah: This lot really are something special and the connection with the fans, manager and players is something we've been missing for at least 10 years :ayatollah:

It's all very well saying just enjoy the football and concentrate on the team but VTs red scarf giveaway was a huge distraction the other night. If a pro blue faction had done something as divisive as that and we lost there would have been a riot.

Its like one big band all singing off the same sheet in the city boardroom to line there own pockets infront of anything else :malky:

Look, let's not prolng the argument. The simple fact is VT is running the show and red is not going to change this season or, probably, next whatever we do or say. Therefore giving away red scarves is nothing more than handing out a scarf in the team's current colours.

Time for representations, action, etc is not during a triumphant season on the pitch. It's for after the job is complete.

All of that is my opinion, nothing more mothing less, but I would suggest any representation after the season is done would be much better supported than one that could be perceived as de-stabilising during the season. These players have sweated blood for OUR club, they deserve to be supported wholeheartedly :ayatollah:

I agree with most of what you say but the fact remains Tan was the one who brought the colour argument to the fore with his scarf giveaway at a time when we had an important game on. If a blue faction had done something like that and we had lost the game they would have been hammered, and perhaps rightfully so. But the fact remains, Tan caused the unrest on Tuesday night, no one else! From now until the rest of the season Tan should stop anymore damaging interfering, pushing the re-brand down people's throats, and just focus on the football.

@stevecmb @phillipspatp besides, this only started out with me asking why we didn't play in our away kit? Perfectly logical question surely?

@chrischandler85 no issue with your question, but why do you and others bother the players with the issue when they are focusing on playing

In fairness to Steve, he's away at the moment. He doesn't help himself with some of the answers he gives sometimes though! :laughing6:

I agree with Steve. A perfectly logical question why we didn't wear our blue kit at Wolves and the majority of fans wearing blue at Wolves proves a point. It's interesting to see Steve sticking up for our blue colours as I'm sure he wasn't a great deal against the rebrand initially.

He just deflects everything. He's one of them now. We've lost Steve, he is Malaysian. :(

Steve Tan! :)

Re: Steve Borley and fans clashing again

but in Borley's defence, despite his obvious financial position, if Tan goes so does anything he's ever put in....

He's not blue...
He's not red either....

The only two colours that Borley, like myself will ever be...
Green and Gold!!

:)
