A forum for all things Cardiff City

I've deliberately not posted since I think Wednesday as as all I had in my head my that sickening site of the fans Tuesday night. I was getting into arguments that I could do without. After today I feel a lot better and that is not because of the result but it is a topic I'm not going to go into detail for a while.
I stood at the end of the stand to the goal we attacked in the first half. To my right was the South Bank stand that I believe house the more vocal Wolves supporters. I was surrounded by some very vocal young fans of ours which makes a refreshing change from our family stand where I have my ST. The banter between the fans was entertaining with one or two of the wolves fans losing it big time. I missed our second goal as I and a few around me were more interested in one of the wolves fan who tried to jump over the wall onto the separating grass bank to get at us. He was rugby tackled by a couple of stewards at the same time Campbell scored. It was obviously not a very good few minutes for the chap but he kept us entertained.
Onto the game we dominated the first half and when Campbell scored it was a great sight him coming over to us to celebrate. Although we dominated I had that about being one up, that vunerable feeling, although those around me said don't worry because Wolves are crap and they were.
Second half I felt Saunders made excellent changes as I felt at least they started competing. I was quite relieved we got the second goal but my comfort zone soon melted with their goal from Sako. From where I was standing it looked a weak shot that trickled over the line. I was surprised Marshall made no attempt until I saw the deflection on telly back home.
Talking of Sako he does look a quality player and I just wonder if he would shine more playing for someone like us. The last chance they had was from a run of his starting just outside his penalty area. He left our guys standing and his cross into the area was perfect. Really they should have scored from that.
If they had scored from Sako run and held on we would have been robbed. However we got what we deserved. Great day in more ways than one.
Just like to thank Vince Alm for getting me a ticket today. I missed the boat at the ticket office which I should take as a warning about getting your away day tickets.
