Meaning what exactly? The vast majority of people voted George Bush to be president of the United States.

The vast majority of Germans believed in Hitler. People will believe all sorts of shit when you promise them things will be amazing, give them free stuff and sweet coat over all the real issues. The human race is inherently dumb.

So you clearly don't believe in democracy then.
The 1930's in Germany took the same approach as you and opposed democracy - the next thing that happened was that the people who opposed Hitler were persecuted - its highly questionable that the vast majority truly believed in him by the way, as opposed to being forced to do so, as democracy was suspended after 1933.
The parallel with our situation is clearly not made out, as everyone at CCFC is able to voice their opinions freely as evidenced by all the vitriol against VT on the mb's over the last few days.

The club will not say **** all unless it's pro Tan.
VT has put forward the ideas but the gun is fired by those in CF11.
They are pleasing the boss by going out of their way to deliver his wishes. Just look at the pic of the directors box in Jon Candy's images.
Some real Bluebirds in there, dyed in the wool Cardiff City fans who have put their jobs/investment before common sense and history. And all wearing a red scarf!
If I was in their place and had a family to feed I would be in the same dilemma so i have sympathy for them but they have chosen the buck over the Bluebird. I don't think any one of them believe it's right.
Let's not kid ourselves. This is one mans vision and through his money and power he has the staff bending over backwards to please his wishes.
Those who questioned his ideas are no longer employed.
The Cardiff Dragons / Cardiff Malaysia is not far away. Even if the FL do not sanction a name change all it will take is the club to persist with the new name in their press releases and website statements for it to stick.
If they tell the press it's the Cardiff Dragons it won't take long to become the norm.
If VT says that what it is then that's what it is.
We are becoming Cardiff/Malyasia as an advertising arm of the Tan empire. How much must Berjaya et al spend in advertising worldwide? Millions, and more.
So what better than your name splashed all over the TV with Premier League football. His £100m loan* is maybe 6 months advertising budget.
*and so far a loan is all it is
and for that his bigger empire is shown worldwide and through the flags and shirt sposorship his individual standing goes up a level or two back in Malaysia.
The traditional fans are not the future. For every 100 who are walking away there are 1000 willing to take their place.
Wise up people.
Resistance is futile.
Tan's vision is to maximise Cardiff City for his benefit not ours.
For some, Premier League football in red and as a franchised entity is acceptable collateral.
At least Sam gave us the choice of what version of the St David's cross we'd have to accept. The current owners have the club by the balls so tight they will do anything, and i mean anything.
The offical propaganda channels are quite incredible. Free scarves, photos of fans with scarves, free season tickets, superstore press releases of all red merchandise and the glorifying of an alien colour to Cardiff City fans. The official website and superstore blazing red. Official pics from Tuesday showing only people wearing scarves where all season they have shown action pics from games.
As far as association football in the UK is concerned we have become a test case. Many other teams are laughing at us but put in the same position would they accept it?
Please. see it for what it is. Then make your mind up and decide to support on their terms, take from it what you can on your terms or stick two fingers up to it and walk away.

Well that's not what he's saying at all. He is making the point that people are entitled to vote or to have an opinion, but the majority voting outcome doesn't mean it's the correct outcome.
For someone who seems to love democracy, you ain't half backing the wrong man in Tan

But surely democracy means that the minority accept what the majority vote for?
I may not want the Tories in power, but if that's what the majority vote for, as a democrat, I have to accept it.

Those that wear blue like myself will eventually be seen as an eccentric old guard but hopefully still accepted at the club. The only problem comes if we do something like Wolves are on the verge of doing and get a double relegation. The core fans who would still go but have been alienated won't be there and neither will those new fans enticed by the chance of premiership football. Our league 1 crowds would probably be half of what they were last time.

Nobody is stopping the reds from supporting the club are they? If the Labour Party wins an election it doesn't mean plaid Cymru all become labour, they continue to lobby for what they represent.
To be an advocate of democracy and support a dictator just because others feel they must is astounding.

I agree with what you've said here.
I will always accept people who want to continue to wear blue to matches - all I ask for in return is that those of us who are proud to wear our new colours are also treated with respect.
If we did have a double relegation, I'd still be there supporting the club as I always have done, but you may be right about some of the newer supporters.
