Some people in the family stand actually left with about 5 minutes to go. I couldn't believe it.

They've sat through a fair bit of turgid crap for 8 months but with 5 mins to go in the most exciting and tense game of the past few seasons, the sort of game that makes watching football worthwhile and you remember for years, they get up and walk out!

I took my young daughter to only her fourth ever game and she was jumping up and down singing barmy army. It was a fantastic football night I'll remember for a long time. One of my favourite league games ever - and I've been going since 82!
