If you can't accept RED then go and support another team

Fri Feb 22, 2013 3:48 pm

Tuesday night proved the vast majority of fans accept City playing in Red. There are now a minority who don't and want to protest. This is the last thing the team need at this point of the season.
If you can't accept the change and show some loyalty to the club then go and support someone else

You'd better change your username to BroadlandsRed? :malky:

Anyway, who are you to say we should support someone else? The team I've supported for 20 years are Cardiff CITY, The BLUEbirds. It'll take more than a few thousand 'Johnny Come latelys' wearing red scarves to put me off too.

Tuesday was the most gut wrenching and heartbreaking night in my football supporting life  - worse than any relegation or 5-0 hammering. For 90 soul-less minutes we sat there realising that our club has been sold down the river. For people to say there's nothing wrong and continue to (quietly) support whilst we are top of the league is quite preposterous.

Give me administration in Blue over Premierleague in Red any day.

maybe you could go support another team, maybe people are fickle and if a purple scarf was ther they would have been just as happy to wave it about....but hey....just my opinion.... :ayatollah:

I am soo happy that you said this! Fans have been wanting premier league football for years and now that we have one foot in it, they aren't happy! What will it take to make everyone happy? I mean there's no need for a protest against Blackburn. It's the last thing the team needs at this stage of the season! Support your club, not a colour! It's getting ridiculous now. And I guarantee that almost half of those fans will have season tickets for next season. Support Cardiff City FC not blue! :x

Okay Broadlands"blue"

Colour obviously meant something when you picked your username, why not now?

Silly person. Bet he doesnt like to be told what to do, just like the rest of us. Just accept that this decision was taken to rebrand and has split the fans just like it would at any established football club. And show some respect to a fellow bluebird,(that is if he is one) I accept the decision of those to support the red dragons thats up to them, I aint throwing stones at them, theres far more important things in life and the world, (though right now my hatred of the rebrand is very high on my list!)

I obviously don't agree with you but I can empathize why you feel this way HOWEVER telling me to go and support someone else is ludicrous

Let me get this right - and I'm speaking as someone who has given up going to any matches following the rebrand - you would prefer me to now go and support another side as opposed to not supporting anyone??

Finally, you really don't understand me or others like me at all do you? You don't just go and support someone else - supporting Cardiff City "The Bluebirds" actually meant something to me - for a long time.

What a steaming pile of shit. It'll be interesting to see how many reds will still be here if we fail to gain promotion.
Despite our great success this season, I would quite happily go back to the dungeon days.......at least those few thousand weren't fighting with eachother.
This club is on the path to self destruction.......just for a few quid.
