What this tells me is that Malaysians have searched Liverpool vs Cardiff City to watch the game most likely during this period online.
Hope this helps.

Here are the google searches in the last 12 months for Chelsea, Liverpool, Cardiff and for contrasts sake - Swansea who are our local rivals and QPR who have similar Malaysian connections.

This shows how little impact the club is having over there and even Swansea are sparking more interest than us and how even QPR with all their Asian promotion cannot even get near the big clubs.
Food for thought.

So basically nobody in Malaysia gives two hoots about whats going on here, yet we have rebranded for it.

Yes, 3rd on 16.
Also for a non prem club, (where all the interest is) I would say we are doing very well indeed.
IF we get to the prem, have a look then.

All that's being laid at the moment is foundations, Tan is ahead of the game, by the time we are a premiership club and hopefully established the name Caridiff City will have a lot more exposure than other clubs coming into that market.
Also, I would hazard a guess that most searches in regards to Swansea are only because they are playing the big 5, just like Cardiff at this moment in time, Swansea have no international fan base

What facts do you want?
1. Every Cardiff City home game is live on Malaysian TV =FACT
2. Cardiff City sponsor the malaysian league, have set up accademies endorsed by the head of sate and grass roots football=FACT
3. One of the wealthiest men in Malaysia, has taken the decision to change to a red strip and dragon badge, under the assumption that this makes us more attractive to the Asian market=FACT
4. Two posters on here, who seem to know more about analytics than me, have said that searches involving Cardiff on Google were more to do with the time we played one of the big 5 in the cup. Is it then that far fetched to assume that searches involving swansea are not for the same reasons? = FACT
5. Just because you have some Spanish players, then you think that you will be watched in Spain? Yeah alright, how many British supporters watch foreign clubs with british palyers in, next to none = FACT
6. You have a massive following of probably a hundred thick as pig shit, Den Haag fans, which makes you big in Holland?=FACT
