One reason the atmoshere is crap

We dont have any good new songs all we have is barmy army ,cmon city , we're top of the league and not many others.
Fans are bored to death of singing the same three or four songs every game. I'm right by the away fans and hear the amount of diferent songs they have about their clubs and players (Except milwall and leeds who have about two songs) how can we get some new funny and catchy songs going?

The atmosphere seems to be loud on tv and radio ,and the players on the pitch think it is aswell ,ive watched most game this season on tv and internet and it sounds very loud ,malky and the players have said its loud maybe the fans are expecting to much ,i remember in ninian park being able to here the player s shouting etc and only the odd few games the atmosphere was electric ,you are right a bout songs need a few more old ones and nes thrown in

Maybe it's loud but the fans can't hear each other across the stadium. As long as the players can hear it that's all that counts

and to follow on from that, there's no doubt people who want to sing songs about being "Red"

but aren't cos they know what ructions it would cause.

If I hear "Red Army", I think i'd snap my season ticket and walk!

Where did I say that? But in my opinion it has made it even worse, now you've mentioned it.
On this very true, in 4 years there, we have been right up there every year near the top, 20,000 plus crowds yet I could count on one hand how many times there has been a great atmosphere in the stadium.

Times have changed its as simple as that. The crowd is different, the CCS is more family oriented (a good thing), the rebrand has put pay to many a good chant

Its another factor of modern football you cant say its specific to Cardiff although I do think we're suffering worse

A new breed of fan has developed too. Over the years, the cup successes have brought in LOTS of new fans - a new type of fan. That go for the day out and have a burger and a coke and watch the game. They don't participate in the witty chants etc like the "hardcore" fans who spent many a year on the Grange.

That's not to say that are "lesser" fans. Just a different type of fan.

I also think some of the older, previous vocal fans, have calmed down a bit and no longer sing much. I know I fit into this category.

When we moved to the CCS, the club should have sold tickets for a certain block, then you would get all like minded people together. So like when you had your season ticket for the Grange End, you stood wherever you wanted. They know how many seats are in the now Canton stand, so just sell that many tickets and let people go where they want, like we do away.

All sounds pretty simple, but either the club don't want it or there is some Health and Safety bollox stopping it
