Cardiff Fans Too Bullish...

Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:42 am

According to a colleague of mine (claims to be an Arsenal supporter but has never been to their ground! ) Cardiff City Supporters are "too bullish" at the moment and are "expecting too much all of the time"

Personally, I believe THIS season Malky and the boys have given us EVERY REASON to be 'bullish' if that means we should have CONFIDENCE that we can get something out of EVERY game

Little 'set backs' like the ones at home to Brighton and Peterbrough annoy us deeply. Why? Because we have a TEAM that expect as much from themselves as WE expect from them (and that's A LOT!)

IMHO we can AFFORD to be a bit 'bullish' at the moment; just like the supporters of other recent clubs that have been in our lofty position at this stage of the season. WE'VE EARNED IT! ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Nothing wrong with being bullish but anyone thinking we have promotion in the bag is deluded. 2 away games coming up and 4 of the next 6 are away with 2 homes against derby and Leicester - both tough.

Quite conceivably we won't even be top after the next 2 and then the pressure will bite. At least 7 more wins required :ayatollah:

Rubbish, how could any clubs supporters not be bullish or overly confident under the circumstances. QPR had 60 pts at the same stage, we are in the best position of any team who were promoted for the last 7 years in the championship promotion race. If you can't be bullish over that, i don't know when you can be!
Whether or not we fall on our arses is another question, but the overwhelming chances are that we wont. :ayatollah:

That's why I said "nothing wrong with being bullish"

But I certainly wouldn't say the chances that we won't fail are "overwhelming". Point me to the easy games we have left then?
