The majority wore red scarves.....

which goes to show that this messageboard represents considerably less people than we would think. Right or wrong, people voted last night their feet (well, necks really!)

Re: The majority wore red scarves.....

The majority don't use message boards.

The majority see our club colours as red and blue.

They will happily wear red and blue. After all they are the clubs current colours so no shock there.

The majority do not know the ins and outs of the club so are not aware of the blue being getting rid of and the bluebird possibly being removed as well.

Therefore they believe all is well in the world of Cardiff City FC with a rich owner who is doing his best for the club and all they have to do is wear red or blue.

They have no idea of his underlying motives. FFS I know some who didn't even realise the club was in debt. They just went to work during the week, went to the game on the weekends, got smashed in town afterwards, Sunday dinner with a hangover and back to work and restart the cycle.

What proof do us message boarders have that all isn't well?

Agree with your facts above, but for me the key will be the next home game...lets see how many red scarfs are on show on that night.

There won't be nowhere near as many. It's because they were free. Everybody loves a freebe an besides it could be a boiling hot sunny day wouldn't take a scalf then would you.

I saw people of many ages wearing them though, many of whom have supported this club for a huge length of time. The idea of only plastics wearing them, and anybody who wore one being a "sell-out" is just ridiculous. We can rant as much as we want, we are in the tiny minority, fact.

We are in that tiny minority because we are that tiny minority that like to know whats going on at our club hence why we spend so much time on a mb.

I would say the average bod that watches us does not know about the debts, no idea why we are playing in red and most likely knew nothing about the red scarfs giveaway last night.

What proof do you have that all is well? None. Neither of us have any proof.

Why? Because the only option casual fans got is do as Tan says or don't go to games anymore and spite themselves. There is no other option because there is no protest campaign and there is no other machine for them to get behind. Im sounding like Chuckles here but he was right all along.

Every Saturday in the family there are samples of Peter Pies sausage roll. I grab a few samples a walk to my seat. If they were not free I wouldn't eat them. Now a representative from Peters may well claim that 90% of the family stand enjoy their product, it is true, when free, but a massive exaggeration if you had to pay for them.

If all you that are so incandescent with rage tried to organise a counter show of strength maybe you could claim a draw, but for that you need leaders. Strangely all the former "fans Leader" are very quiet or left.......... Time for someone to step up.

I was proud to wear a red scarf last night, but fully respect the fact others wanted to wear blue as well.

All I ask for is that whatever fans feel they should wear is respected :ayatollah: :malky:

That's my point they were FREE - But have to disagree with you that on Tues 5th March ( kick-off 7.45pm ) next home game -
We are going to have a "boiling hot sunny day" - Unless you are Derek the weather man ;)

So we have no idea what's going on but lets stir up a bit of trouble when we should be supporting our team.

Why will this be key, of course there will be far less wearing a red scarf, how many fans actually wear a scarf, i certainly have never worn one before and probably won't wear one again. The key thing from that game is that people had the choice to wear it or just stick it in their pocket and the majority chose to wear it. The poster is right as much as people hate to accept it, the majority of fans don't share the issues that a lot of people on this messageboard have

I am sorry but this riles me - 'They have no idea of his underlying motives' - as if you know what they are! Be anti-red, anti-Tan by all means but you have no right to attack the man through scare mongering

If People were given blue scarfs they would have put them on - most messageboards talk of what has happened.
If your saying that people had the choice then yes - great - most of the ground was red for 1 day.
Just like on xmas day when you open your cracker - do you wear the hat to join in ???
IF people want to buy into this red - they would show their surpport next game - thats my point ;)
Why would fans not turn up on a cold Tuesday night in March to watch City v Derby - with their FREE Red scarf ???

IF it's ok to wear a scarf in Feb....why not in March ???

My point though is if people had real issues with the rebrand then they wouldn't have worn them. Most people don't buy into red as you put it, I fully agree, but they just don't care enough to fight for blue as a far greater percentage on this board do. This is what the poster is stating. Some people feel they understand Tan's reason for changing to red, the majority just don't care its as simple as that as much as a lot of people on here hate to admit it

bluelover :ayatollah: - i agree with you post above,we all have our views. There are things i agree with and others i question about -

Would we be still top if we played in BLUE - Would we still be top of the league if VT had not given MM the money to spend on our players - im more than happy where we are as a team...just wish we could ALL be happy as a club :ayatollah:

If people want to buy into Tan and the red they will renew season tickets next season not accept a free f*cking scarf. Real test of character is not refusing a free scarf, its standing by your principles and not renewing.

Barnett, you have no real say in this matter seeing as you said the rebrand didn't bother you in another thread. You think a protest and petition will get to Tan? Think again, it will be shuffled out of his sight but mark my words when he comes to the CCS next to be greeted with thousands of adoring fans who have renewed season tickets he will think "WOW, THEY LOVE THE RED".

Facts. Realism.

So in the last 28 hours you have changed your mind again, were you even there to witness it?

Anti reds, stick by your principles and don't go otherwise Tan won't know he's pissed people off because you must be dull as f**k to believe men like him receive petitions.

It was more than a majority fella. I've just seen the highlights and it was a sea of red the other night. You lot are more plastic than Reading. What have you done?
