lack of atmosphere

Wed Feb 20, 2013 5:55 pm

people moan about the poor atmosphere at the ccs, stating different reasons, from not enough numbers singing long enough, the away end being next to the family stand, but the main reason is the design,as we all know, the structure is designed for an extra stand all away around(well 3 sides),when this is done the atmosphere will improve drastically,at the moment the roof seems to high and the sound gets losts,so hopefully something gets done in the summer :ayatollah:

People don't seem to get this and say "fans just need to sing". It's the acoustics.

To be honest, I was on a wind up when I said the Canton was shit. Only in hope that fans would sing more to prove me wrong.

Really? Thats bullshit.

your right at times it can be shit, but also good, same can be said for every ground in the country, not every club has a stadium that is bouncing every game, modern day football and seating has seen to that

For big games yes.

I don't usually bring up Ninian Park but the last season there it was buzzing nearly every game. I highly doubt fans change that much over the summer.

It was buzzing because it was the last season, it's been poor since 2002 when all the plastics and new breeds jumped aboard and sanitised the atmosphere.

Well since I've been going in 2005 it was great at Ninian Park for the majority of the time.

You've been going since 2005? That's nice but off course you would think the atmosphere was great, you were going to the football for the first time. Truth is kid, it's been poor since 2002 and that was coincidentally when all the plastics jumped aboard.

Facts, realism and unbiased opinions from myself as always.

I've been going ever since, and I know for a fact that the atmosphere in the stadium now is in no way comparable to the last few years of Ninian Park, even if it wasn't that good to you.

Ninian park had its good games, but not every game was the place rocking, the bad games are still better than the good ones at the ccs

Many times that Ninian Park wasn't that loud. Take off your rose tinted spectacles.
