Just went down the ticket office to collect my Middlesbrough tickets and despite stating I would never go in the club shop again, I felt the urge to have a look out of curiosity. To my surprise, there are blue and white retro scarves available with a big Bluebird at each end. I bought one and will be taking it with me to every game from now on. Just thought I would let you all know after last nights debacle. If only 95% of the fans could had worn blue scarves last night instead of the red ones, VT would have surely had no option but to at least compromise then?

How much are they? I'd love on one match day if everyone would tie a blue and white scarf to the Fred Keenor statue/Ninian Park gates

Great idea! They are just over £7 for season ticket holders and just below £8 for non season ticket holders. Not cheap I know, but it's a good quality scarf. Just have a couple of pints less the next game to pay for it.

I don't normally wear colours but last night turned my stomach & i'll be buying one off the guy at the end of Sloper Road.

The more people who start to wear blue the better

Wouldn't it make more sense to get an unofficial one instead of giving tan money ?

I'll be purchasing a blue retro scarf. I'll get mine from the club shop and contribute something to the football club rather than give my cash to some fella in the street selling to make money for himself.

I'd rather give my money to the guy in the street

Don't you think all those moaning should have been wearing blue all season

I'd guess if everyone bought a blue one from the shop and sales surged on them it might make him pay attention.
That would be my thinking anyway.

I think the main reason there were so many wearing it last night is purely down to the free season tickets. I would be amazed if there will be that many wearing them from now on but we will have to see.

Yes, like me. But it's not too late.
