Dean Saunders warns Wolves of relegation 'disaster'

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders has warned that a second consecutive relegation would be a disaster for the Molineux club.

Defeat at Barnsley saw Wolves drop into the bottom three of the Championship for the first time this season.

Saunders told BBC WM: "Hopefully the reality will hit home because I've been trying to drum it into the players since I got here.

"If we don't stay in this league, it would be a disaster for the club."

Saunders, who was appointed after Wolves sacked previous manager Stale Solbakken last month, has now overseen seven league matches, four of which have been drawn and three lost.
