Red and blue kit

Wed Feb 20, 2013 1:21 pm

Do you think a red and blue kit like palace or Barcelona style would be a good compromise and gesture to fans, all merchandise and colour of stadium etc in both blue and red, we have our blue tan and Asian have their red...
I think this would be the best thing too do to move forwards and keep everyone happy do you think???

If we cant have a blue home kit which looks a certainty, I think its the best we can hope for some sort of fusion of the colours

It would be a step forward but it still wouldn't feel like Cardiff City.

I don't expect any compromise after last night.

After last night there will be no compromise, the Malasian steam roller is in full tilt now and they will crush any mention of Blue, Bluebirds or City from next season completly unapposed by the happy red brigade of new fan. by August the old CCFC will be completly unrecognizable

I think the Malaysians need to start giving some sort of compromise because it seems more an more people might be starting to get pissed off with the rebrand

That would be good yeh, something like this is exactly what I was thinking, if tan actually cared about the fans he would do something like this

We had a red & blue 3rd kit in 1997-1998 and it was quality at the time

Very much in the style of the barcelona kit, with the proper badge

It was worn at Slough away in the cup

Stripes would be too similar to Barcalona and Palace! That is why I like this as a compromise.

In fact, not having a go at Palace here but they are a good example to show how often these "rebrands" have happened in the past but because society was different back then I doubt they got called sell outs and plastics!

It is an interesting site to visit if only to look back at the different colours, badges and nicknames clubs have had over the years and it just goes to show we certainly weren't the first or will be the last !!

I don't know if this could happen or whther it would be enough for some but I am getting fed up of all the in-fighting and name calling this "rebranding" has caused !

Yeh half blue half red would be good. I would actually prefer this to going back all blue I think
