Anyone agree their a waste of time!?

I don't think we've scored one goal from a short corner.

F*cking hate them!!

Really frustrating. And also when we line up a long throw and then throw it short. The ball never seems to be played into the box leaving Hudson and Turner hanging around like two useless ball sacks and out of position if we lose the ball.

I agree, we haven't scored from them and the old corner routine worked soooo much better

We're hardly ever a threat off set pieces now. I don't even get excited when Whitts steps up to take a free kick anymore.

I don't even care about the match tonight.

But those short corners did my f*cking head in.

We can't even beat the first man on a corner or get the ball passed the wall on a free kick at the moment.

short corners are a waste of time, especially if you commit 3 of your 4 defenders in the box..

put the ball right in the mixer every time... after all, thats where the goal is!

Yep noticed that lastnight alot as we had loads of corners and crosses going in the box most hit the 1st man or went over everyone

I agree waste of time, why pas it back and forth twice to give them time to close down then fail to get a cross in... wish they would stop the messing about and get the ball in the box.

The match was irrelevant to me because of the red scarves. But considering I stayed, watching those short corners was frustrating.

Simple.

Both the short corners and the front post ones were stupid.

The one time we stuck one in the middle we had a header on goal (went over). If their keeper had shown he could come and claim everything then it ould have made sense to vary it, but he was a flapper (good shot stopper). We had what, 15 corners, if we'd put 10 in the middle with 3 big men in ther (4 when Helguson came on) I reckon we would have scored at least once, maybe more. Up until about 6 weeks ago we were a real threat at set-pieces, now they seem a burden - a poor short corner led to their 1st goal tonight.
