Disappointing result after dominating the game and being punished twice through mistakes. Another game could have been a slaughtering with 19 shots to 3. On the other hand i thought Taylor was brilliant ! Noone didnt get into the game and i feel he tried to do everything against his former team. Conway was excellent when he was introduced and i feel should replace Smith as he isnt a winger. Also for Kev to replace Connolly through the poor distribution in the higher parts of the pitch.
Should have had more from the game but thats football. Anyway Onwards and Upwards to Wolves on sunday

Agree with this 100%.
Conway and Taylor were outstanding.
On another day it could've been 4 or 5-0 to us.
Roll on Wolves.

Can't imagine Kev's distribution would have been much better judging on past performances.

He's a natural Full back, Connolly is not.

Don't think that change would have made much difference 2 the game 2 be honest. Would prefer 2 have seen Helguson on earlier for a bit of an aerial threat and Mason/Kim on for Tommy Smith who was quiet.
Still thought we did enough 2 win on another day, hope we react well 2 this defeat as we have done previously this season.
As you say onwards & upwards!

We will bounce back at Wolves.

Isn't it funny how we all see the game differently?
I think Taylor has been much improved recently but thought tonight he was poor. Both goals came down his side. I appreciate that for the second goal we were chasing the game but the first goal came directly from his mistake and then not stopping the cross coming in.
Also although he got into some good areas going forward I thought his final ball and crossing were weak.
Still, that's the beauty of having different opinions!

Agree. Conway made such an impact. Think Connelly had a piss poor game and looked pretty knackered. Just think nooney was trying way to hard and thought into too much. It's one game, plenty more to bounce back and prove the strength of our squad and ability to bounce back

I am a big fan of Taylor and he does get a lot of stick "Weak Link" but tonight i thought he was outstanding! But i feel that we should have cleared the ball 3-4 attempts before

Match facts
Cardiff City had lost only once in the league at home this season, the 2-1 defeat by Peterborough on 15 December.
That match was also their last defeat in the Championship - a run of nine games unbeaten before this match.

Your right its about opinions but I agree Taylor was at fault for the first goal though our whole defence seemed to leave it for each other.
Noone has been poor for months, whilst generally we lack creativity to open up stubborn defences. Having said that Campbell missed a great chance. I'm so frustrated with this game tonight and the pessimist in me is already expecting a bad run now as we haven't been really firing for ages and think this is a period where luck evens out.........

Every home game has been like that for us, you had it once, we've had It every f*cking game. It's nice to see you suffer as now you know what we've been going threw.

Sucks to lose, it makes you almost angry, but if you cant stick the ball in the net it dont really matter if you have 1,001 shots on target.
Dont really care what happens to B&H at home, i dont watch or support them so.....
Im not tooo worried about a bad run because we are making the chances. If we had lost 2-0 and only had 5 shots with 3 on target then i would be thinking "Shit, we can score, no much chances"
We still have a game in hand over Hull and the play off peeps

Malky doesn't go over the top when we win and isn't likely to panic now when he knows we created chances an on another day could have won by 2 or 3 .
Hopefully we will put it right starting at Wolves on Sunday .

Couldn't agree more with that!
Wed Feb 20, 2013 11:14 am
i think it would be more of a worry if we did'nt play well but i thought we played really well and on another night we could have won by 3 or 4 if we play like that for the rest of the season we should have no worries
