If Malky keeps us up a year in the Prem, Will he do a Swans.

and leave us for say an offer of managing a top half side of the prem ? I personally think he will. Ok, he wont go to any of the big guns we know that, but he could do a Martinez and Rogers and go to a side of the calibre of Everton. I know Malky dosen't have our players playing the Spanish style of play that the pundits loved while watching Swansea, but still, A manager that can get you promoted by a large margain, and keep you in the top flight a year will get any clubs in the prem keeping an eye out for our Malky.

I think we will only hang on to him if in our 1st year we stay up, but do fly high way above our expectations and do what Swansea have done and hang around just below the Europa spot. If Malky does that, and it will be amazing if he does, we can say thank you, but tara Malky.

Depends what position we'll be if we get promoted in our 1st season, say we finish just above the relegation zone then no, I don't think he'll leave, he'll want to better that, at the moment the only Premiership side who claimed interest was Norwich, I think he's quite a bit off managing someone like Everton etc

i would think Malky is a very loyal man! seems a top bloke and has respect for the club! IF we get promoted are there much teams in the bottom half of the prem who would be attractive enough for him to leave us? not really

There is a sense of dread lingering in the back of my mind. If we do go up, Sack Malky after 4 games 4 points and get Mark Hughes or Shearer in.

Malky has a long term project here in Cardiff, Doubt he'll leave anytime soon.

I dont see tan keeping him on if we are in the bottom four all season but saying this it all depends on what hes got to spend next season. If we spend 20million and are in the bottom four all season i think tan will ditch him, if we spend hardly f**k all and are in the same position i think he would still ditch him as harsh as it is, such is football owners these days

Still fans will be on here wanting a top six spot by the end of september or it will be MM out on here no matter what we spend , even though staying up somehow will be the aim to start with

I believe Malky has the ability to manage a top 10 side.

I also believe that Tan Sri wants us to be a top 10 side and I fully believe that Malky will be managing us for several seasons.

The question will be.... After several seasons in the top 10 will the likes of Man Utd/Arsenal/Spurs come looking for him?

An important consideration. Malky had huge funds available to him. He only chose to use a fraction of what was available and with that has created a side who are 10 points clear. That is exceptional.

Given how are fans are, if we aren't in the top 10 by November people will be calling for his head

Bit naive to think he wouldnt leave. We dont know him that well. He's a
great manager and looks to have a great future. I'm only hoping that he
is enjoying putting his own little dynasty together here. So far Tan seems

He loves the football club... where have i heard that before. . Bigger job comes along then he will be gone. I think he is doing a cracking job mind. Seems a top bloke too.

Malky is like any other professional in Football today, he will do what is best for him at the time. There is no loyalty in football, especially when that person has no links to the area or club. It's just a job and a career progression.
I think that there is one job that he may take, which would not be taken on a completely rational choice and that is the Celtic job. He loves the club as a supporter and former player and may let his heart rule slightly over his head, on that one.
