My opinion on the red scarf/making a stand etc...

Mon Feb 18, 2013 4:47 pm

Yeah its alright, send a message to tan, make him leave/stop investing, see us drop like a stone and be back to 10,000 fans again. Aslong as the name Cardiff City Football Club still remains ill still support anything that goes on within our club. Yes ill agree im not happy with being red and would much rather play in blue but i think we should be greatful for what we've got to be honest. It isnt changing lets accept it, move on, become better, who cares what other fans say about oue club, our owners and us, were off to the prem so lets be thankful were not playing league 2 football in front of 20,000 empty seats each season. I respect everyones views on the matter, just thought id voice my own. :ayatollah: :)

Your comments are a little over dramatic and bordering on hysteria. Don't be fooled into thinking that the scarf idea is some goodwill gesture towards the fans. Tan is only interested in making the stadium a sea of red and this is a clever way of trying to achieve this. Although I am glad that Tan has invested in us, I also recognise that he is in fact mad. His obsession with red even goes as far as adding a red hue to the footage shown on the big screen in the staduim so yes Tan, we get it, you like red. I also think that Tan looks like a complete tw*t in that red trenchcoat and what makes it more cringeworthy is that no one has the guts or deceny to point that out to him. Personally I will not be accepting the scarf as I certainly do not want this form of bribery to succeed in helping him turn the stadium red but I am sure that there are many on here who will bite his hand off and surrender the last bit of their credibility for a free handout.

I can't believe how dramatic people are being over a scarf.

Take it or don't, the world won't end and the game will still go ahead
